What educators are saying

I screen shotted and used these task cards to create a Jeopardy style game for my students! The visuals are great!

Description

I created this card game to help my second graders remember the individual definitions of the various Nonfiction Text Features we have been discussing during our Informational Text unit.
You can use the cards in two different ways. If you print the cards front to back with vocabulary words on the front and definitions on the back, your students have an instant set of flash cards to use to study these definitions. You could use these two sided cards to do a scavenger hunt as well by assigning each table a particular text feature to look for and find examples of in various nonfiction texts/periodicals.
The second way you could use these cards would be to print one sided cards that are blank on the back. Shuffle the cards and lay all of them out face down. You then take turns flipping over two cards to see if the words and/ or definition match.
I hope you enjoy this game!
