Thank you for viewing this resource “THE HUNGRY GAMES, THE BATTLE TO LOSE WEIGHT”. Students will learn about NUTRITION, DIET and EXERCISE through problem based and project based activities. Students complete a project pack which helps them develop a game show which encourages contestants to lose weight, by eating healthy and exercising.

I have had a lot of fun making this resource and my students also enjoyed the challenge of completing it while learning about the elements of Nutrition, diet and exercise.

This Project is aligned with the California Health Standards and ELA Common Core Standards. It also includes Next generation Science standards, with opportunities for problem solving and critical thinking.
