Familientraditionen (Family Traditions) is the topic explored by students in this resource. The following tasks and activities are included:

• Task ONE - Lesen

Here students read a text on what family traditions are an dthen also take a closer look at the following traditions: Geburtstagfeiern, Jährlicher Familienurlaub, Filmabend, Spielabend, Sonntagsbrunch, Märchesnstunde vor dem Schlafengehen, and Picknick. They can also add more.

• Task TWO - Vokabeln

In this task, students identify new vocabulary from the text and create their own vocab list.

• Task THREE - Leseverständnis

Here, students answer eight questions basedon the text. All questions must be answered in full sentences.

• Task FOUR - Schreiben und Erzählen

In this final task, students use a small min map to create a plan for them to write and/or talk about their own family traditions.

An Answer Key is included.
