Description

Looking for an activity about NASA's work in space, astronauts and/or the International Space Station? Let your students take a Virtual Field trip! Topics include: current missions, create a rocket, Newton's Laws of Motion in Space, Studying Climate Change from space, Apollo 11, life on the international space station and what it takes to become an astronaut. Students will also tour various NASA sites around the country and observe NASA's current images from space.

You can assign all of the blocks or allow students to choose a given number of virtual tours, videos, and activities. Optional follow-up questions and activities are included on the choice boards. After students are finished exploring, they can do the Easel Quiz.

Digital choice boards contain internet links so your students will go directly to the site without having to type in the internet web address. It's extremely engaging, educational, and fun! Take it one step further and have your students create a slide or report based on their trip(s).
