Myth of the Dreamcatcher Art Project

I'm half Native and used to work at a First Nation school. So this was a common art project that the students really enjoyed. Students listen to the "Myth of the Dreamcatcher" and then make one for themselves. This download includes the lesson plan, myth read aloud (written by me), assignment sheet and listening rubric. But here's a couple hints -NEVER buy real eagle feathers - it's disrespectful and bad medicine (meaning bad luck, sort of) And only do the myth when there is snow on the ground. It's a winter myth.
