My Writing Checklist Posters/Rubric (Multi-Colored Background)

These writing posters are designed to be visual reminders for your students to refer to as they learn the basic rules of becoming good writers. Display in your writing station and review often until they become a “go-to” resource for your students. I have included both words, as well as visuals on this resource in order to meet differentiation needs. Enjoy!

Sentences Included:
1. My Writing Checklist (Title)
2. I wrote my name and date.
3. I started my sentence with an uppercase letter.
4. I used finger spaces,
5. I put an ending mark at the end of my sentence.
6. I spelled sight words correctly.
7. I used my best handwriting.

A Few Ideas:
1.Display: Print on card stock (or mount on construction paper) and laminate for durability.
2.Print one or two to a page (depending on your needs and classroom space). Hang one below the other using staples, clip/rings or yarn to tie together.
3.Use as task cards, true or false game, or make two copies of each for a matching/memory type game.
