My Practice Library Book

Last year, I decided to use the paperbacks as a “stepping stone” for my Pre-K and Kindergarten students. I attached the note to the paperback, and gave each student one book. We reviewed how to take care of their library book, and to keep it safe in their
backpack.
They were so excited carrying their practice books out of the library, and some of them were even holding their book like a baby, promising to take good
care of them.
Almost every student remembered to bring their paperback book back to school the following week! Ithink it really helped them to understand that bringing
their books back is important.
*I've updated this file to now include an actual "Practice Book" that you can copy for your students in case you don't have paperbacks for them to take home. I've also included an alternate version. All items are in English and Spanish!
