My Freedom Quilt

After reading stories about the Underground Railroad freedom quilts, explain the different types of squares and what they mean, and have students draw different patterns onto their worksheet. Students should write a few sentences about what their quilt means. You can find pictures of the different squares. If you have a hard time finding them, email me and I'll send you what I found.
