My First Math Mystery Picture Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction

It’s Math Mystery Monday. Do you have a difficult time getting your kids excited about math? I know I do! Have you ever heard, “What do I do now?” I gave this to my 4th graders on a Monday after they had finished their work. After a little while, even my students that don’t like math were asking if they could have a copy of it. Students that HATE homework were asking if they could take it home to finish it.

There are many mystery pictures out there, but there are none quite like this. Check out the FULL preview. There is one mystery picture, but there are two sets up pages with the same answers. There is a set of 3-digit addition and 3-digit subtraction. The answer key is included.

This will take a while for your students to complete. It’s perfect for those students that like a challenge.
