My First Day of Art Class Coloring Pages (includes both Cat and Bulldog versions)

I created these coloring pages to use with my Kindergarteners on their first day of art class! This is an easy way to get to know your young artists and see where they are at with their coloring and writing skills as well as assess their ability to follow directions. I hand out this page to students after I have introduced myself, given a "tour" of the art room and have had students practice some classroom procedures. I walk my students through each part of the coloring page, explaining where they are to write their name and their age (some will need assistance), where they are to color their favorite colors and where they are to draw a self portrait.
