Description

Are you looking for a fun and easy way to incorporate solid paragraph writing during your writing block? Our It's My Day at the North Pole! Paragraph Packet will allow students to imagine a day spent at the North Pole with Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, and reindeer! This resource guides students through each step of the writing process as they write a well-developed narrative paragraph about their day at the North Pole! When student writing is complete, use the included rubric to assess and bulletin board letters and graphics to display student work!

Our Paragraph Packets are designed to guide primary students through each step of the writing process while implementing a step-by-step method to help them create a well-developed paragraph that includes a topic sentence, 3 detail sentences with further explanation, and a conclusion sentence. Students will also be guided through the revision and editing process and participate in a peer conference for further feedback.

Our Paragraph Packets are perfect for younger students who need more guidance in whole or small group settings, while their structure helps support more independent writers as well.

The format of our Paragraph Packets remains the same for each prompt so that students can continue to grow more independent in their writing through familiarity with the layout. Please download our FREEBIE Prompt, It's Time to Be Kind for a look at how each Paragraph Packet is set up.

Each Paragraph Packet guides students through the writing process by providing templates/organizers for the following the following steps:

❶Brainstorm

❷Outline/Plan

❸Rough Draft

❹Revise and Edit Checklist

❺Peer Conference

❻Publishing Paper

❼Assessment
