Description

My Circus is an interactive unit for prek/ early elementary. My favorite way to teach is to make learning hands on and engaging. The resources within the unit can be made into manipulatives that can be moved and used throughout. Coloring pages are included and integrated. Pre reading and early literacy skills are practiced with CVC words and sight words. Interactive math activities include counting, identifying money, reading graphs and more. There are suggestions to encourage imaginative play, a great way to independently learn and incorporate skills. This resource has been used for my own prek student and one that I tutor. Happy Learning!

Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
