How do you keep students accountable during centers?
Each day students check-off which centers they participate in and at the end of centers they reflect on the following areas:
-Did I get started right away?
-Did I stay in one spot?
-Did I work the whole time?
-Did I use voice level 0, 1, or 2?
At the end of the week, students can make a goal for one of the behavior components they can work on in the next week.
In my own classroom, I have these copied onto cardstock/vellum and laminated so that students can re-use them weekly by writing on them with a dry-erase marker.
