Description

What's goin' on Teacher Peeps?!

Thank you for your interest in the “My Career Journey” Project. This project will take your students through a journey of realization, acceptance, creativity, and empowerment. It’s unfortunate that many of our students are unaware of the many types of career possibilities until late into high school or even later in life. By that time, some of the things they could’ve accomplished in high school to get them into a better position for their career, has passed and they’ve lost time. However, through this 4-8 week journey, your students will learn a lot about their choice career as well as many others from their peers. What better way to do that than through this career journey.

“My Career Journey” Project is broken up into 5 parts in order to keep the entire project more feasible and managable for the students. As you know, students love to try and jump ahead before getting a good solid foundation. Hence, the 5 parts. Also, if you just want to do the research paper sections by itself, you can and it will just be a writing project. Rubrics are also included for both, research paper & the choice projects.

This is a great way for your students to learn more about potential careers in the future and create a project based off of their career.

Check out the "My College Journey" Project that works great with this project too for more student choices!!

Also look for Reading Logs in Award Winners, multi-cultural Comic Book, and Star Wars themes too!!

Thanks again for your interest and Good Luck!
