Musik Mittwoch Sentence Starters

Musik Mittwoch is one of my favorite weekly class activities. These scaffolded sentence starters will help novice-level students write and talk about music.

This product is designed to print as a half sheet, which can be cut and glued into a notebook. Each half sheet contains space for two Musik Mittwoch entries. There are three different sentence starters, increasing in complexity.

For example:

• Das Lied ist...
• Ich finde das Lied...
• (open-ended)*

This product also contains a list of adjectives for students to reference, as well as coordinating conjunctions.

*After a few weeks, I no longer give students the printed sheets. They then freely write their music entries.
