Musician of the Month: ALL ACCESS BUNDLE

This ALL ACCESS BUNDLE includes all of my Musician of the Month sets. As additional sets are added, the price of this bundle will increase accordingly. By purchasing the bundle at the current price, you will receive future sets in my MOTM series for free. At this time, I do not have a schedule of when new sets will be added, but I am definitely not finished! Musician and Composer of the Month bulletin boards are a great way to introduce new music to your students while incorporating music history and listening activities, and act as a supplement to your lessons. They look great as décor and can be changed as often as needed to reflect your curriculum or performance pieces.

Why is ‘Musician’ instead of ‘Composer’ used?

This is a question I struggled with for a while. I wanted to stay as close to my old style as possible, but I also wanted to be accurate and have my COTM and MOTM packs to make as much sense as possible as a collective. Although several of these musicians are also composers, I decided to list them as MOTMs because of their development of certain genres through performance. If through my research I discovered that a particular person did a lot of performance, they were labeled as a MOTM rather than a COTM. This is also why you might see some musicians in this set as having COTM pages (such as Scott Joplin).

SAFESHARETV INFORMATION:

SafeShareTV takes YouTube links and eliminates the distractions of related videos, autoplay, and best of all, NO ADS! This is why some sort of safe-viewer is recommended in the classroom. I have also made sure to edit the videos to crop out any unnecessary beginning time (like applause) so you get right to the music after clicking the link.

Although these bulletin board sets are mainly used for decoration, many teachers like to use them as digital instruction material on the projector or SMARTboard. When opening the Famous Works page, click any of the titles to be taken to a video of the piece.

Please make sure your district does not block YouTube or SafeShareTV before attempting to access the video links in your classroom. Please note that the download does not contain actual video and audio files. All videos are internet-based. Links are clickable in PDF files only and are found in the Famous Works page unless specified otherwise.

Please note that not all COTM/MOTM sets have a photo included with the package. I only use public domain images in my sets, so if a photo is not available to me, I will not include it within the file. Most sets have a photo.

If I have a set you would like to purchase without a photo of a composer, you are more than welcome to use my blank PDF and JPEG files in Word, PowerPoint, or some other word or presentation software to insert a composer photo of your choice. (Personal/Educational use only, no Commercial)
