Description
This task introduces students to common symbols used in Aboriginal art and the concept of songlines. Students create a soundscape to the Dreaming story of The Rainbow Serpent. Students use common symbols used in Aboriginal culture to notate their Songlines. From this, students record their soundscape to accompany The Rainbow Serpent.
This was developed from a number of readily available resources from the internet and I encourage you to look into the wealth of resources about the rich and unique culture of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
