Description
Teaching students about music can be difficult, but you can make it fun with games! Use these Music War card games to help students learn about rhythm, dynamics, treble clefs, and bass clefs in a fun way. It's perfect for elementary music centers, sub plans, beginning band, piano lessons, and more!
To play:
- Students get into pairs. Split the deck of rhythms in half.
- Both students flip over the top card on their decks.
- The students with the biggest card (highest pitch, loudest dynamic, or longest rhythm) takes both cards, and put them at the bottom of the deck.
- If they tie, flip again. Winner takes all.
- When one person has all the cards, they win.
Includes:
- Treble clef (with sharps + flats)
- Bass clef (with sharps + flats)
- Rhythm level 1 (each card has one rhythm)
- Rhythm level 2 (multiple rhythms to a card)
- Dynamics
