Description

Do you play music in the classroom and always wondered how you can integrate it into your teaching practices? Will look no further! This product will help you apply any music you play in the classroom, by asking of the students to research the selected artist and create activities inspired by their different cognitive levels of thinking (Bloom's Taxonomy).

Within this product, you will receive a "How to Use This Product" guide that will walk you through how it's currently being used in my classroom, and my musical recommendations for how to expose students to different genres. The following worksheets/templates are also included for easy integration:

• "Meet the Artist" allows students to research the selected musician
• Question Cards allows for the opportunity to have a meaningful classroom discussion where students are thinking at a higher-level
• "Artist Choice Board" allows for students to have the freedom to select three activities based on their different levels of cognitive thinking (perfect way to differentiate)
• "All About ___" is a cute template where students can take their overall findings and notes to create an essay on the featured artist

After downloading, please don't forget to write a fair review. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I hope you have fun rocking out in your classroom!
