Music Curriculum K-8 Bundle. 333 Lesson Plans.

This product is a bundled version of my curriculum for music based on Common Core Essential Standards. This includes detailed curriculum plans for grades K through 8. Please notice that the plans are also available individually. These lesson plans are based on an 18 week semester. There are 333 different plans. Each lesson, although different, may be applicable to more than one grade. The lessons are sequentially designed to build upon each year's learning. The Curriculum is based on Understanding by Design and is organized into Units. Curriculums K through Five include Curriculum Maps and Unit Maps. Units include Rhythm Beat and Meter, Pitch (singing and recorders), Adventures in Nursery Rhyme Land, Orff Ensemble Playing, Classical Composers, Appalachian Dulcimer, improvisation, guitar, American Music, Jazz, African American Spirituals, Appalachian Ballads, and Shape Note Singing.

External Resources that I use in these lessons include the K-8 Magazine, Music Discovery Series, Music Play from Theme and Variations by Denise Gagne, Marimba Ensemble music by Walt Hampton, Hap Palmer's Modern Tunes for Instruments ad Movement, and Rollo Dilworth recorded vocal warmups such as "Vocalize." These are all copyrighted supplemental resources that must be purchased separately.
