Music Centers Eighth Notes Rhythm Board Game + Interactive Game {Music Mania}

Are you looking for fun elementary music centers that will review reading rhythmic patterns consisting of eighth notes, quarter notes and quarter rests? This rhythm board game and interactive music game is perfect and is a great sub tub activity.

Utilizing the Interactive Game in conjunction with the Board Game version (for small groups) will increase all students ability to read rhythmic patterns with maximum results. Use the Interactive Game version for whole class instruction and as preparation for playing the Game Board version. Students are cheering when they have the opportunity to play in small groups with one group using the PowerPoint or web version! An excellent strategy for keeping the students excited and engaged!

The games will keep your students engaged for an entire 30 minutes. Use it with small groups (3-4 students) or music centers. The lesson is great to leave in your music sub tub and with a substitute especially if the students have already played it in class and know the routine! It is also an excellent tool to use as review prior to giving an assessment.

Depending on the abilities of your students and how lucky they are in rolling “big” numbers there could be a winner in about 20 minutes. However, it usually takes 30 minutes to win. My students love the game and just start it again if there is time left in class without asking!

The game was designed to be projected onto your SmartBoard, Promethean, Mimio or Interactive Whiteboard and will run on PC's, Mac's, Chromebooks and tablets using a "link" that will open via your default internet browser. Integrating the resource into digital learning platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, Seesaw, and Google Classroom is easy when utilizing the "shared link".
