Music Bundle Two

A bundle containing six musical studies for the primary classroom!

Each pack contains worksheets and fun activities which will give children the motivation and encouragement to form their own opinions on this particular genre and style of music. It also contains a teacher's guide to assist you during your lessons.

Included:

Biography: a short snapshot of the musician's life, their greatest hits, explaining genre and some interesting facts!

Comprehension – a fun page of questions and fill in the blanks. This exercise encourages the children to study each biography in detail and further their learning.

Discography: This can be used as part of a homework task, research or just to study the names of some greatest hits. Can be decorated and added to a project or display.

STRAND: Listening and Responding: using YouTube or Spotify, ask the children to listen to some of the acts greatest hits and answer the detective questions.

What do you think… young students need to form opinions on what they like and don’t like about classical, traditional and popular music. This worksheet allows them to share their views on some of the acts most famous tracks.

Homework – a fun, interactive homework sheet which can be used to begin the topic or as an assessment tool.

Project sheets – lined and blank version. Perfect for a music display or assessment tool.

Art Attack – using the internet, scroll through album covers comparing and contrasting each. Use this worksheet to copy one or to come up with a cover that is representative of the musician's genre and style!
