Music Appreciation and Listening Workbook

The four chapters in this workbook are designed to give children the basic skills needed to appreciate the music in their everyday lives. There are 30 lessons.

The worksheets are left blank so that teachers may choose songs appropriate for their students’ abilities and interests. Song can be found on YouTube, CD's, or you can play a song for them on an instrument.

This workbook is designed to be used with Grade 2’s to Grade 6’s. Activities also include writing and reading activities to help students and teachers incorporate a balanced literacy program.

Activities will take 5 to 15 minutes and are designed to be used at the beginning or end of a lesson. Activities can be bundled for a longer lesson.
