Are you looking for a fun way to introduce the mummification process with your students? How about an activity that is cross-curricular? This one meets both!
In this Inquiry Learning Activity, students will be mummifying apples. This experiment can take up to 15 days, so please plan accordingly.
Included is a Teacher Guide with supplies needed to purchase, and how to set up experiment, as well as a 13 slide google slide show for students to track the progress of their mummies, including hypothesis slides, and a connection slide.
The standards taught in this lesson are: Early civilizations (India, Egypt, China and Mesopotamia) had unique governments, economic systems, social structures, religions, technologies and agricultural practices and products.
