What educators are saying

I’m having more and more kids struggle with speech sound production in multisyllabic words. I used to make my own visual for syllable counting so this is perfect with both the pacing circles and the picture/target word!
I love this resource! It has everything I need for therapy and it is easy to prep and use. Thank you for creating this!

Description

Syllable reduction significantly decreases a child's intelligibility. I created this product to help children practice producing multisyllabic words and identifying the number of syllables within a word. Pacing syllable dots are included to give a visual representation of how many syllables they need to produce. I usually have the child touch the syllable dots as they are producing their words and then fade to independent productions. Two sizes of pictures are included based on the student's age and ability.

SLPs who have used this my prevocalic /r/ silly stories fill in product say…
"I love the pacing boards and syllable dots! The kids like the graphics and change from drill sheets. The cards are easy to use in a variety of games!"

"This is a great tool to use with more severe phonological kids or even kids who just need to work on counting syllables."

"Have already used this with my student with apraxia! I love it had the pacing dots on the picture and that it comes with blank ones! Thank you for making my job easier!"

“My kiddo with a severe phonological delay has mastered eliminating phonological processes at the 1-syllable level, so this was exactly what I was looking for! Can't wait to use this with him!”
