Description
This activity begins with notes that can be filled out by scanning a QR and watching. This can be used for teacher educational purposes or students to just directly watch. After students are shown the multiple different ways multiplying fractions by whole numbers can be represented they then can do one or two different activities:
In the first activity students must represent the number sentence (such as 2/3 x 5) as repeated addition, standard algorithm, area model, and a number line. There are 8 different questions in which the student must do the multiple representations.
In the second activity students must figure out which of the 4 visual representations is wrong in a game of odd man out. There are 5 different sets.
