What educators are saying

I used this with my 3rd grade after school students. They were very engaged with the task cards and found great success.
Used with 4th graders who have learning disabilities. It was a great supplemental way to show students arrays.

Description

Arrays are a fantastic way to introduce multiplication to your students. But they are also useful for helping students to see the relationship between multiplication and division! For example, an array with 4 columns and 3 rows shows that 4x3=12 and 3x4=12, but it also shows that 12÷4=3 and 12÷3=4.

This set of task cards includes 24 cards, each with an array for a different basic fact. For each array, students will write two multiplication equations and two division facts - a multiplication/division fact family.

Recording sheets and answer keys are included. I have also included an array reference poster for classroom display.
