What educators are saying

I am always looking for fun ways to practice multiplication facts. My students had a lot of fun. Thank you!
My students love this game. You can just set a time limit or play for a day and continue with it the next day.

Description

Included in this product are two different themes (one with hockey clip-art, the other with just dice - for those middle school kids that don't like anything with cute clip-art) of multiplication bump games. I always laminate my game boards for longevity. Game boards in the pack indicate which type of dice to use with a graphic in the upper right corner. I like to use transparent colored counters so that the numbers on the game board can still be seen through the counters. Each theme includes:
• One game board each for 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 10s using 12-sided dice. All products for multiplying through 12 are included on the board, there is some duplication of products on the board.
• One game board each for 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 10s using 10-sided dice. All products for multiplying through 9 are included twice on the board.
• One blank game board. Use this board with any type of dice. Write the number to multiply by in the square in the directions, and multiples of that number in the game board boxes. For example, if you want students to practice the 4s multiplication facts, write 4 in the square and write multiples of 4 (only the ones that can be made with whatever dice you plan to use) in the game board boxes.

To play bump, pairs of students roll a dice, multiply the number on the dice by the number indicated on the board, and cover the answer on the game board. Full directions are included on each game board.

IMPORTANT NOTE: These game boards require a 10-sided or 12-sided dice.
(the best place I've found to get different cool colored dice is at my local Dungeons & Dragons / comics / collectibles type store!)
