Description
These three sheets are divided into half sheets for a quick review, math review or guided math...and especially with spaced repetition instruction. Students are not adept at this process because they do not know their math facts (solvable - see white paper on methodology - free download) or they do not know how to count decimals in the factors to determine the location of the decimal point in the product. These exercises should help them. NOTE: Many students do not realize when they view a whole number like 7 or 8, that THERE IS an implicit decimal point directly behind the number (e.g. 7.0 or 8.0). This fact must be emphasized repeatedly, or a typical 5th or 6th grader is initially confused, and they make mistakes when multiplying or dividing decimals. FREE resource. Hope this helps your kiddos, Blaine Helwig
