What educators are saying

I used this as a template but adjusted the questions according to the age group I work with and their ability level. The students enjoyed taking the quiz and identifying how the learning style applies or does not apply to them individually. Overall great resource.

Description

Are you looking for a creative getting to know you project that will help you get to know your students as people AND as learners? Try this Multiple Intelligences Learning Profile Project! Students will learn all about Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences and create an individual learning profile worksheet to share with you and their peers. This project is an excellent icebreaker, but can be used for back to school, at the start of a new unit or semester, the day after New Year's break, or any time of the year when you would like to have engaging multiple intelligences activities! This would also be a great addition to a Psychology unit.

What's Included?

  • An attractive Google Slides deck to guide everyone through the project steps.
  • Article with Doodle Notes on the theory.
  • Visually appealing Learning Profile Template.
  • Detailed lesson plan with standards and objectives.
  • Editable single point rubric to assess student work.

NOTE: This project does not include a Multiple Intelligences quiz, but gives an online option that I use with my own students.
