Learn about BALD EAGLES the active way, with a SCIENCE GROUP GAME, CRAFT, and SONG / POEM!
Do your kids enjoy learning in ways that don't include worksheets? Use this HANDS-ON ACTIVITY PACKET to share lots of useful information about Bald Eagles.
Bald Eagles are great for Science and Social Studies fun! Who knew that America's Freedom Symbol was such an interesting bird?
A variety of activities for this MINI-UNIT are all included in this product:
1. 2 full pages of age-appropriate Bald Eagle Science Concepts and Talking Points.
2. A 3-verse Song that reinforces many of these Science Concepts! Simple song notes to an easy tune are included. Also includes directions for a free phone app for 'picking out' the easy song tune using their labeled keyboard. No musical skills required!
3. A Bald Eagle Info Poem, that you can use in place of the song.
4. A Book List of my favorite Bald Eagle picture books!
5. Info for your kids on the Bald Eagle as America's Symbol.
6. Templates and directions for a Bald Eagle Craft. All you need to provide for the Craft and Game are pipe cleaners, craft sticks, and a few feathers.
7. Play "Mr. Baldy-- Eagle Eye!" -- an ACTIVE Group Game about Eagles soaring to catch their favorite food! Fish Templates and full directions for group game play are provided. Just add one pipe cleaner per kid! Then add some shakers for the rockin' rhyme!
8. Includes a full-page picture of the Great Seal of the United States, showing the Bald Eagle!
9. Includes two pages of Bald Eagle Photos.
