What educators are saying

The kids were engaged the entire time and loved the cute little short film! Very easy and fun resource to use!
Loved this - the students loved it too! We had lots of fun picking music to change the mood of the short film. Highly recommend.

Description

Have you ever woken up at 3:30am on a Tuesday morning and realized today was going to be your least favorite holiday, "Sick Day #3"? We've all been there, and the last thing you need to be worried about when you're down and out with a cold is the sub plan you've thrown together in the dead of night.

This activity & worksheet can be led by your sub (even if they are a non-music sub!) OR can be an independent, student-led process.

Students will enjoy exploring how mood can affect storytelling in this fun activity using the Pixar short, "Piper" and movie scores from decades' worth of famous movies!

More importantly, you can take that 3 hour nap at home knowing that your students are able to continue learning music-related content even when you're not able to be there with them.
