What educators are saying

my computer science students love this documentary before animation unit and this helps keep them on task during video
This follows along wonderfully and includes a decent amount of information. I love the deeper thinking questions at the end.

Description

This is a worksheet 2 pages to go along with the documentary The Pixar Story. The documentary is available on Amazon (rent for $3.99) and is 88 minutes long. The movie follows Pixar and its founders through their trials and triumphs. It's a documentary - so a lot of talking, but a lot of movie clips and inside information about how the movies are developed. My students really like seeing all the storyboards and artists working. It's a neat look at animation and students can see the "art" of it through this movie. For my art classes personally - it's a great look at a various careers in art - and the connection of computer use in art as well.

Absolutely nothing inappropriate/ no cuss words. But I would only recommend it for 7th -12th grades. Some middle schoolers might lose interest because of all the documentary aspects. The worksheet goes in the of the movie and will help them stay focused.
