Movement Break Journal
Description
Movement Break Journal is to be used 3-5 days a typical school week and activities should be 3-7 minutes to help student get ready for work. The journal was created in half pages to make a smaller, quarterly journal for students to complete with a place to put date and how the student is feeling after completed with a word, zone, face, or sticker. The first page has 2 options for the front of the journal depending on the student. Then the rest of the journal pages order does not matter, though it is suggested to switch up page types for day to day to keep student engaged, though if one page or type works best stick with that for your student.
There are 4 types of pages:
1) Roll and Complete Gross Motor
2) Walk in the Hall
3) Gross Motor Moves
4) Spell ____
Pages 20 and 21 have a blank to fill in for teacher/therapist to fill in. To make movement journal more personal for student.
*Activities may include a need for a dice, ball, and/or the need for a pencil to fill in.*
