What educators are saying

These were exactly what I was looking for to create my literacy resources. The photos are clear and correspond well with the phonemes represented, and I love the variety of faces included. Thanks for a great product!
This is probably the best purchase I have made for my products. I love this set. It's so helpful when teaching reading to have a visual of what it should look like. Thank you so much!

Description

This set of 50 mouth shape photographs is perfect for creating resources that target the science of reading sound wall, as well as speech therapy products. Commercial license is included. Images include children with varied skin tones, to represent the diversity of students in our schools.

Each photo is labeled with the corresponding sound to make product creation easy. Some sounds require a transitional movement of the jaw, lips and tongue to produce the sound (eg: oi, ow, ar) and for these sounds there are two images (labeled part 1 and part 2.)

As a Speech Language Pathologist, I have used these images with students in articulation therapy, and have seen how pairing realistic and relatable visual supports with verbal cueing helps students to have a clear understanding of what their mouth is doing for each sound.

Although many English sound pairs are differentiated only by the use of voicing or no voicing (eg: k/g, t/d, s/z, etc.)--so they look the same when watching a mouth– separate images are provided for each sound to give the buyer more options for choice of images.
