Mother's Day Mug Craft Writing Activity All About My Mom Farmhouse Craftivity

About This Resource:

• This is a Mother's Day bundle that pairs well with a mom themed read aloud, but could also be used as a stand-alone activity for Mother's Day, or worked into a writing unit. This is not an entire unit on it's own. Please see the previews and video to know what is included.
• You may use this on Google classroom (or other secure platforms where it is only made available to your single classroom) as an assignment.
• I recommend pairing this with a read aloud and using it as a 3-4 day writing lesson where students brainstorm, plan, draft, revise, edit, and publish their writing/complete their craftivity to take home to mom or whomever they wish to celebrate on Mother's Day.

This resource includes:

• An "All About My _____" sheet (left blank so students can honor mom, grandma, aunt, step-mom, etc)
• A brainstorming/planning sheet
• 47 different mug designs to so students can choose the one that fits their special someone
• 1 blank mug that students can decorate or add their own saying if they prefer
• 5 differentiated writing sheets in 2 styles for a total of 10 different types of writing sheets
  • Half sheets with larger lines
  • Half sheets with smaller lines
  • Half sheet with a blank mug already attached
  • Half sheet with a space to attach their own mug design
  • Full sheet so students can attach their mug to the top/bottom/side/etc

Directions:
