Description

Are you looking for a meaningful Mother's Day craft that you can have the students in your bilingual classroom create at ZERO cost to you, that also addresses ELA standards? If so, you are in the right place!

Students will use the graphic organizer and outline to write a 5-sentence paragraph in which they share their opinion about why their mother should win People Magazine's Mother of the Year award.

Included in this product is:

* Teacher's guide: explains how to teach the project with 5 different min-lessons.

* 2 graphic organizers: one for drawing and one for writing sentences

* Final copy writing template (which includes a built-in revision list)

* Writing Rubrics

* People Magazine and People en Español cover sheets for students to draw a picture of their mother.

To be inclusive of different family situations, all of the templates are open-ended and provide the opportunity for students to write to someone other than their mother.

All student materials are included in English and Spanish!
