Spring and Mother's Day Craft Activity - Flower Frenzy - Art Lesson Plan

Are you looking for a project with simple materials to celebrate Spring or Mother’s Day? This flower project is inspired by the French artist Robert Delaunay, who worked with geometric shapes.

You will find different ways to colour using your coloured pencil crayons and markers. One exercises sheet will help you to think of original ideas.

This is a project for everyone! For the younger kids, you can use the sheets at the end of this document to help start the project for your students.

This project could also be done in with the older kids (Grades 7 to 12). Everyone brings their dose of creativity!

• Drawing with markers
• Drawing with pencil crayons

Materials:

• White paper (8.5 x 11 inches)
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Washable markers
• Coloured pencil crayons
