What educators are saying

I am so glad I found this resource! We have been implementing the science of reading and I really needed something like this.
My students and I love the display cards. It's a great resource to introduce and teach morphemes. I've purchased others and this is the most clear and helpful bundle.

This 1st-5th Grade Morphology Matters product is my latest heart work. I struggled finding the "structured and systematic" in morphology instruction and standards. So, after doing hours of digging I found this AMAZING grade level Scope & Sequence. I cannot find its original creator, but it is posted on many school sites online (if it's you, PLEASE tell me and I'll give you due credit!)

From there, I created grade level anchor posters to use for your direct instruction. I also created the corresponding morpheme cards so you could create a Morpheme "word wall" or bulletin board. (see product sample for picture)

This product covers the prefixes, suffixes, and roots suggested to teach in 1st-5th Grade. It is not all-inclusive, but most common. This is the minimum students should be able to read and understand by the end of the current school year.

Morphology should not be taught in isolation, but integrated into structured literacy/ Orton Gillingham lessons! I hope this helps!
