Description

Use this editable & customizable worksheet to reinforce foundational skills in a playful, more creative way! Practicing the basics doesn't have to be long or boring.

On a single 8.5x11" sheet, kids will practice

  • name and date,
  • letter and number formation and sequencing,
  • counting to 20 using ten frames, and
  • tracing or writing and reading words, phrases or a short sentence.

Their favorite part will be using their creativity to briefly

  • turn a letter or number into an object or scene by drawing.

It's up to you what they work on!

This template is the perfect combination of ready-to-use and customizable.

In just a couple of minutes you can fill a sheet (by hand or digitally) with just enough challenge for a 10-minute warm-up, before printing or photocopying a class set.

Use these daily, a couple of times a week, or once a month as a quick formative assessment tool.
