Morning Work Packet Bundle (Time, Money, and Place Value)

These packets are an awesome way for students to build money, time, and place value skills, all in 30 days each! You have your choice of how you would like to administer it, whether you do it over 30 days of your choice, or a "once-a-week-each" setup that could take you through 30 weeks of the school year. Either way, cover sheets for your students is included!

These packets cover a variety of skills:

Money

• coin identification
• adding coins
• exchanging smaller value coins for larger value coins
• dollar bill identification
• adding bills and coins
• finding the quickest way to get to a given monetary value
• discovering different combinations for creating a given monetary value
• word problems involving making change

Time

• identifying the hours of an analog clock
• identifying the minutes of an analog clock
• examining the difference between AM and PM
• labeling blank analog clocks with the correct time

Three-Digit Numbers (Place Value)

• identifying place values within a three-digit number
• looking at numbers in standard form, unit form, expanded form, and word form
• comparing numbers using different forms
• finding 1 more/less, 10 more/less, and 100 more/less from a given number
• adding and subtracting three-digit numbers
• solving word problems using three-digit numbers

Each day builds upon the last, so students learn what to expect. Use these as a quick morning work exercise or as a math warm-up!
