Moon Phase Flash Cards

Included in this product are 3 different sets of flash cards for moon phases. All sets are included in both color and black & white.

The cards could be used both as flash cards to study the moon phases independently or with a partner, or as cards for a matching game – just cut apart the front and back of the flash card to create game cards instead.

• Set A has an image of the phase on the front, and the name of the phase and definition on the back.
• Set B has an image of the phase on the front, and the name of the phase on the back.
• Set C has an image and the name of the phase on the front, and the definition on the back.

To create the flash cards, fold the pages lengthwise (hotdog fold) and then cut apart on the solid lines. Glue the folded halves together. If making a set for your classroom, laminate for longevity. If students are making their own sets, please remind them to fold first, then cut. Otherwise they will need to match the front and back halves of the flash cards correctly before gluing them together.
