Monthly Family Projects

These Monthly family projects are a fun way for families to stay actively involved in their child's learning. There are 9 projects. One for each month of the school year. They follow common curriculum and seasonal themes, and you can mix and match during the year for what works in your classroom.
They are open ended enough that they can be used in a variety of grade levels and allow for families to be creative and have fun.

Each page explains the project for parents. Just copy and send home. Nothing else for you to prep.

I send the instruction letter home at the beginning of the month and usually give families about 2 weeks to complete. (There is a space for you to fill in a due date). I have my students present their projects to the class (Listening and Speaking Standards).
These make great bulletin board displays! My families have always enjoyed these.
