Monthly 1-Year-Old Curriculum For Babies and Toddlers: January- All About Me

This month-long curriculum plan includes everything you need to run an in-home daycare or school-based childcare center program for children 12-24 months old. Designed to be developmentally appropriate for one-year-old children, this resource includes teacher guides that provide information on attachment theory and typical development, explicit how-to-use instructions for the program, detailed lesson plans, multiple planning page templates, daily schedules, monthly calendars, a home connection newsletter, and more!

Early learning guidelines often refer to developmental domains. These may include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Physical Well-Being, Health, and Motor Development

2. Social and Emotional Development

3. Approaches to Learning

4. Cognition and General Knowledge

5. Language, Communication, and Literacy

This curriculum is designed to target the above domains using cyclical and integrated approaches, since young children do not learn skills in succession or in a linear format. Early learners are continually observing, integrating, refining, and testing skills as they are applicable to opportunities presented. Daily Lessons, provided three times per day, are created to be a short break from free exploration time in which teachers can purposefully guide student play and interaction with the goal of exposing them to one or more concepts within the five Learning Domains.
