Description
The Timeline of Life is one of Montessori's iconic great lessons. The timeline begins in the Proterozoic and continues on to our currently time (the Cenozoic Era).
The Timeline of Life can be experienced repeatedly to children from the age of six all the way through to age 12. Every re-viewing of the timeline leads to new insights, questions, and curiousity about life on Earth. The second great lesson prepares the child for further work in sciences - specifically in the study of:
- Zoology
- Botany
- Geography
- Geology

- Printable timeline as pictured that measures approximately 28" x 82". Want a smaller version? You can print two or more to a page!
- Printable mute timeline that measures approximately 28" x 82" (this is a blank timeline that children put the labels and life forms on once they have learned the timeline a few times)
