Montessori Parts of a Violin - 3 part cards
- PDF
Description
Montessori nomenclature cards are used to teach a child the names of the various parts of something, in this case a violin. There are three cards for each part, a control card which has both the picture and the label, a card with only the picture and a card with only the label. The child’s job is to match the cards, (you can find more detailed instructions on this lessons at http://www.montessoriprintshop.com/Use_Montessori_Nomenclature.html). He learns the vocabulary of each part as he does this. Each part is isolated on its card by being colored in while everything else is left black and white. This takes away any and all distractions from learning the specific part as it is isolated.
Included parts are: Violin, fingerboard, bridge, pegs, scroll, sounds holes, strings, tail piece, chin rest, & bow.
Set includes colored cards ready to print, non colored cards in case you prefer to color them yourself, blank ones for the children to color, label and make their own "Parts of a Violin" books.
