Montessori Job Chart

In Montessori education, young children learn how to care for their environments early on. Older children who stay for the afternoon work cycle are ready for more responsibility. We express our trust in them by giving them one job to complete upon returning from outdoor play time. In my classroom, the children have the same job all week and they can expect a new job each Monday. I use clothespins with their names written on them to clip to the photo that will show them their job for the week.
