Montessori Economic Geography Mapping Icons

50 hand drawn icons are a great alternative to the traditional Montessori Economic Geography Stamps.

Using the Montessori puzzle maps, have the children first trace a map and then use the set of Economic Geography Icons to represent the resources of a state, region, or country.

Icons can be printed on sticker paper or adhered to the map with glue once cut.

The icons are color coded:

Black for 15 resources from the Mineral Kingdom

Green for 25 resources from the Plant Kingdom

Red for 10 resources from the Animal Kingdom.

A black and white copy of the icons and labels can be used as an introductory sorting work.
