Description

Sentence and Picture Matching is a fun hands-on reading activity using simple c-v-c words for targeted reading practice with short vowel sounds in short sentences.

Use these to practice decoding basic CVC and sight words, and develop word analysis skills.  I suggest using this activity as an independent follow up work, on your Montessori language shelf, or as part of your literacy center.

This file contains: 16 sentence cards and 16 matching photos. These cards are all bordered in black, and contain mixed vowel c-v-c words and common sight words.

Please download the preview to see more details with instructions and images.

Sentence and Picture Matching is designed for use in a Montessori preK-Kindergarten classroom, but can also be used by homeschool families, reading specialists, speech and language pathologists, para-professionals, or Special Education teachers.
