Description

Welcome to my world, the world of Debbie Clement! This zip file is built around one of my original, happy songs for children. "Monster Spray" was designed to help kiddos face and overcome their fears in a playful manner. The song has a very engaging and repetitive chorus that invites a group sing-a-long within the first encounter. This is a favorite for children and you're likely to hear, "Let's do it again" while the final notes are concluding. Repeating the song affords the opportunity to talk about the distinctions between real and pretend, about the things that frighten us.

The song is included in an Mp3 format. The lyrics are included in a pdf format. There are additional pdf's for the phrases in the chorus to be printed for use in a pocket chart format. There are two different coloring pages included in pdf format. The final page included is one to facilitate free writing + drawing about the individual child's fears.

A letter of greeting from the music lady includes a bibliography of monster books and suggestions for implimenting the song with children.

There are numerous articles on my blog outlining creative Art projects in conjunction with the song and fun activities on the theme of using monsters in a general manner to explore other areas within the curriculum.

Please be certain that you can access a zip file and that an Mp3 would be applicable in your setting.

I am so appreciative of those who leave feedback. Thank you!
